QuickBooks Online Integration
Our CFO Dashboard connects to QuickBooks Online via Intuit's OAuth 2.0 protocol. When you connect your QuickBooks account, we access the following data in read-only mode:
- Profit & Loss reports (monthly summary)
- Balance Sheet (point-in-time snapshot)
- Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable aging reports
- Sales by Customer summary
- Chart of Accounts
- Company name and basic company information
We cannot create, modify, or delete any transactions in your QuickBooks account. We do not access bank account numbers, credit card numbers, social insurance numbers, or individual employee compensation data.
You can disconnect your QuickBooks account at any time from your dashboard settings. Upon disconnection, we revoke our access tokens with Intuit. Upon request, we will delete all synced financial data within 30 days.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. Consultation records are retained for a reasonable period to support ongoing client relationships and comply with professional obligations.
Your Rights
Under PIPEDA, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Withdraw consent for future collection or use of your data
